I started to settle into my new place in Toronto and decided to "borrow" some bandwidth to get online. I couldn't believe my luck. Someone had an unsecured network operating...yah!!

As I'm browsing, I decided to hit my facebook account. I get on there and I see one of my old "infatuations" and his wife had their first child. I gotta' say - weird feeling. I'm extremely happy for him but the weird feeling is there. I immediately felt like I was in the middle of a Sex and the City episode. Anyhow, I guess I'll meet up with the little one at our old work reunion in the Spring. I'm sure the weird feeling will have passed (like some bad gas) by that time.

Today, I'm just cleaning up my new "temporary" pad. The place is an old office building that's been converted to a loft. A good friend of mine owns the place but lives out of town and can't move in so she's letting me crash there until my loft comes available in mid April (pending the job holds out in T.O. that is).

Last night some of my new neighbours had a party. I was invited but declined cause I was a bit tired - I should have gone....the music kept me up anyhow.

Tomorrow I'm back to the old grind. I'll keep you guys in the loop on my work - very interesting time we live in and I must say - very interesting group of people I work with right now as well.
